My name is Alexis & I am the owner/creative here at Type by Lex. 

I am a small town girl that loves to create. I have a super handsome husband and two adorable pups Berkley & Bayne. I started freelancing while studying Graphic Design at La Roche University. Type by Lex is meant to be a creative space where I push myself to inspire others & create really cool art.

My specialities include branding, layout design, infographic design & human centered design. I truly love what I do, and I want to continue to help businesses grow and exceed expectations with design. Starting a new business or want to enhance your current business, let’s chat! 

I received my first laser engraved in October 2021. It has been the coolest learning curve I have ever experienced. I sell a lot of home decor at my Mom’s salon, but I have found my passion is the custom projects clients give me. A laser engraver has so many possibilities. I love engraving cutting boards, making custom signs, engraving tumblers, glass, mirrors, keychains, & more.
